On January 8th, 2024 transiting Venus returned to the same degree as my Natal Venus. This is a big deal. A rebirth of all things Venus. A refresher, an opportunity to review, recycle, and embrace the next phase.
The thing is, my Venus is on top of my Midheaven (MC) which represents our public life, career, legacy, and responsibility. So now let's combine all MC themes with Venus themes and there we go. We have a recipe, an open door, an invitation. It's up to me to do what I want, answer or not. After all, Astrology is not a dictator's rigid structure but a complex mix of ever-evolving archetype energies. One is not bound to it, but has the choice to embrace the guidance or not. The goal is to learn how these energies can work for us so we can live a life with flow and more ease. At least at a little bit of ease, because let's be honest, life on planet Earth will never be easy. With that being said, I decided to take the help and follow the signs the stars were giving me.
It started with a gut feeling. A sacral invitation. My heart kept taking me in the direction of the skies. When I was 13 years old my dream was to be an Astronaut (have you watched the movie "A Million Miles Away"? - it's so good!) but there were no opportunities for a girl from Brasil to get to NASA at that moment so I allowed that dream to fade away. I think that the harsh judgments towards Astrology from my church at that time kept me away and scared of the sky. Still, I was trying to find a way to connect with it through Astronomy. Well, it didn't really work.
Decades go by and now let's fast forward to 2013. Death & rebirth. A painful breakup that turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. The divorce was the catalyst. I was finally free to be who I was really meant to be!
Soon I said FUCK the cold and moved from New Jersey to Fort Lauderdale! In Astrological terms, I moved from my Saturn line to my Pluto line! WOW! Yeah, I know! A lot of things had to die. After the breakup, I officially left the church, gave away all my furniture & gave up my apartment with the view of the Empire State & Hudson River. That view was so important to me and I let it go like butter melting in my hands. I had to let go of my photography business which at that point had already reached not only New York but CT, MA, DC, and even VA! I used to drive everywhere to shoot weddings. Things were going well for me, but still, it had to die, Pluto was calling. It was time to transform. I packed my car with my green juicer, my triathlon bike, and my photography equipment and drove 24 hours straight to Fort Lauderdale where a NEW ERA began!
At first, I had no idea I was staying, but I was open to being guided by the Universe. The ocean intensified my intuition and things started to flow better. I felt a sense of peace and groundedness that I had never felt before. Soon I met my new husband :) which solidified the decision to stay and not look back. A total death now, Pluto doing its best work. A rebirth. A new family (my husband had 3 kids already, living with him full time), a new home, a new EVERYTHING! I flew back to NJ, grabbed Colby, my little Cairn Terrier, and the rest of my stuff, and fully moved in. I had to leave my home TWICE to find who I truly was! I challenged my limiting beliefs from my church upbringing and started to open my mind more. I studied yoga & got certified as a yoga teacher as I built my photography business back up from scratch. Then finally Astrology found me again! Finally! I was waiting for this moment my entire life! As I started studying psychology (an ongoing life-long project) I felt inclined to find even deeper meanings in Astrology. Carl Jung, one of our founding fathers of psychology studied Astrology heavily and that inspired me to dive deeper and deeper. Finally, I took the courage and registred in a formal intense study which gave me the base for where I stand now.
After years of playing in the shadows and dodging my friends when they asked me for formal Astrological readings, I finally took the courage to take on the call. Asking for Divine wisdom I insatiable studied & studied my own birth chart for confirmation. Everything started with a gut feeling, then I would confirm by looking at my own chart. I studied not only my natal chart, but also progressions, solar returns, and more. These studies led me to this Venus Return. The day that the transiting Venus touched my Natal Venus on top of my MC. So I come here, aligned with what the stars have for me, to come out of the closet and stop playing in the shadows. I'm here now to be seen as I truly am. I'm Bianca, I am an Astrologer who is committed to helping humans understand themselves better through the stars.
